Family Involvement

MetYSO is a cooperative organization. Our tuition is kept lower than comparable youth orchestras by the volunteer efforts of our member families. Parental involvement can be limited to specific tasks or more extensive such as becoming a policy-making member of MetYSO’s Board of Directors. Each family is expected to commit to a volunteer job after their first semester of MetYSO membership.
